Mohammed Abukir, Head of the DEDO, participated in the National Conference on Environment and Climate Change held in Mogadishu.
The high-level summit brought together key national and international stakeholders, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, several cabinet ministers, ambassadors, and representatives from the United Arab Emirates, as well as organizations engaged in environmental and climate-related work.
The conference served as a critical platform for in-depth dialogue on the impacts of climate change in Somalia. Participants discussed pressing environmental challenges and explored practical, sustainable solutions aimed at building national resilience and promoting climate adaptation.
