Today, we had the honor of commemorating World Environment Day a globally significant occasion that calls for reflection on our collective responsibility to protect and promote a sustainable environment.
To mark the day, we organized a community awareness session and an open dialogue aimed at reinforcing efforts toward environmental protection and encouraging local communities to take active responsibility in safeguarding their natural surroundings.
The event provided a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas, innovation, and sustainable solutions to address key environmental challenges, including land degradation, pollution, and climate change.
We express our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of South West State, as well as our partners: GREDO, PAAS, ASDO, Green University, and Badbaado Deegaanka Organization, for their strong support and collaboration in ensuring the successful implementation of this important program in Baidoa.
