School Visit and Support to Vulnerable Students in Berdale District

On May 27, 2025, we conducted a field visit to several schools in Berdale District, Bay Region, including Berdale School, Aldaareyn Primary and Secondary School, and other key learning institutions.

The purpose of the visit was to monitor progress and provide motivation in support of educational development, particularly for vulnerable and orphaned students. During the visit, we distributed school supplies including notebooks and pens to selected orphaned students as part of our efforts to encourage their learning and academic success.

We were honored to be accompanied by the Mayor of Berdale District, Mr. Mohamed Aracas, along with some of his deputies and the District Education Officer.

The district leadership warmly welcomed our delegation and expressed sincere appreciation for the valuable educational support provided to orphaned students. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting equitable access to education and improving the future prospects of Somali children.

Through this visit, DEDO Organization once again reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education and enhancing the well-being of vulnerable children in the communities it serves.
