Today, a water tanker was successfully delivered to Dooday Camp, located on the outskirts of Baidoa City, to support internally displaced and vulnerable families facing acute water shortages. This timely humanitarian intervention aims to address the critical lack of access to safe and sufficient water, which has significantly affected daily living conditions within the camp.
The provision of water through this tanker will help reduce the risks associated with water scarcity, including the spread of waterborne diseases, poor hygiene practices, and protection concerns—particularly for women, children, the elderly, and other at-risk groups. Access to clean water is essential for drinking, cooking, sanitation, and maintaining basic dignity for displaced households.
This intervention represents an important step toward alleviating the harsh living conditions experienced by camp residents and demonstrates a strong commitment to responding to urgent humanitarian needs in displacement settings.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Adani for his generous support and valuable contribution to the successful implementation of this humanitarian activity. His support has played a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of life-sustaining water to families in need.
May Allah reward all individuals and partners who contributed to this noble and compassionate initiative, and may it serve as a source of relief, hope, and resilience for the affected communities.
